Our Story
Meet Kim & Sam, two therapists and moms who love what they do, and decided to make it work for their families.

Samantha Compton, speech therapist, started Balanced Child Pediatric Therapy as a mom who wanted to be present in her own family. There she met Kimberly Snyder, occupational therapist, who had a similar vision after having her first son. While Kim was growing up, her family owned a health food store. Her grandmother specialized in holistic homeopathic medicine and passed the tradition to her daughter (Kim's mom). Kim carried that holistic approach into occupational therapy to help families get to the root of the problem.

As pediatric therapists, they realized there were so many families in similar situations! They realized they could do so much more to help families through a coaching model than what was possible in the traditional therapy setting. Together they set out to help other families reach their parenting goals and parent with intention.
